Message

Last week I stumbled
Then I stumbled upon a message
From a girl I use to know
She was always so much wiser
So much tougher
And so full of life

She disappeared out of my life
Slowly one piece at a time
Then gradually over a ten year span 
I’d forgotten her all together

I stumbled Last week
And stumbled upon her Message 
Her voice was clear
Her words were true
Her intentions were real

But all week long
Though I’ve listen to her message
Over and over and over
Almost to point of obsession

Her message is blocked 
And has not yet pass the eardrums
It has not yet landed
On the mark of its' intended

But I did get 6 hours of sleep last night /this morning
And that’s a lot for me

So to have discovered her message at all
It gives me hope
It gives me so much hope
That her voice 
Her words 
That she …. will soon return
And that hope gave me 2 hours of extra sleep
